Tharien joined the Rosendorff Reitz Barry team in 2006 as a candidate attorney while still studying at the university. In 2008, she was admitted as an attorney and later the same year, she was admitted as a conveyancer and assumed the role of a professional assistant at the firm.

In 2010 she continued her aspirations in furthering her career by becoming an admitted notary and expanded her practice and expertise in doing so. After years of remarkable hard work and devotion, the choice was easy to make her a partner in 2016.

Tharien’s primary focus is on conveyancing and notarial matters as well as trust administration. However, her vast experience and expertise is also relied upon in other fields such as third-party fund administration and wills and estate administration and she often collaborates with these departments.

She is also the key person for various correspondents nationally and upholds these relationships loyally and respectfully. Equipped with an excellent team under her authority, all clients and correspondents are ensured unwavering legal assistance with incredible attention to detail.

In addition to her legal practice, Tharien is also involved in the day-to-day administration of the firm and has been a great contributor to the firm’s success. Outside of the firm, she has been a lecturer at the University of the Free State’s Faculty of Law since 2014.
