After her studies and articles of clerkship, Estie practiced as a professional assistant in Upington for two years after being admitted. During this period, she also worked as a part-time lecturer at the satellite campus of Vaal Driehoek Technikon. In 2001, Estie relocated to Bloemfontein and joined Rosendorff Reitz Barry Attorneys as a professional assistant in their estates and wills department.
Since joining the firm she took over all of the responsibilities within her department. Subsequent to becoming the pillar of the firm’s estates and will department, Estie’s unwavering dedication to her role in the firm was recognised and she became the firm’s first female partner.
Her lead focus is on the drawing of wills and the administration and winding up of deceased estates as well providing fiduciary services together with third-party fund administration. Her expertise and experience ensures that these sensitive matters are handled with the utmost care and privacy for her clients.
After being introduced to her position in the firm, Estie’s department has experienced significant growth, catering to clients nationwide. It has expanded its team with professional staff and assistants, creating a comprehensive service that takes into account the unique needs and circumstances of each client. This growth has been complemented by the collaboration between this department and firm’s litigation and deeds departments.
