During his final year of studies, Dewald took the pivotal step of commencing his articles of clerkship and later in 2019 an opportunity arose to join the esteemed team at Rosendorff Reitz Barry. Recognising the firm’s stellar reputation, Dewald eagerly seized this chance and became a candidate attorney with them.

In October 2020, Dewald was admitted as an attorney. However, his hunger for knowledge and professional growth compelled him to broaden his expertise, leading him to pursue further studies aimed at becoming a conveyancer and notary, which he successfully accomplished in 2021 and 2023 respectively.

Serving as professional assistant since 2021, Dewald’s primary role revolves around providing comprehensive assistance to clients and correspondents in the realm of conveyancing and notarial matters. He takes charge of these cases from their inception right through to their successful conclusion. Additionally, Dewald lends his expertise to litigation matters when the situation demands it.

In the spirit of the close-knit family culture within the firm, he also extends his support to various administrative tasks, contributing to the overall smooth functioning of the organisation, while also learning a great deal of the day-to-day operations.
